Hmm... doing the math on this ... i have 2 solar systems a 1.5kw and a 6,6 kw. So if I got a battery it would go on the
    larger system.

Simple maths... if it saved 13 kw each day, and I use it then my savings benefit (Based upon 32c retail per kw charged , its 40 cents but i get 20% discount to pay on time) is 17c a kw as my energy provider pays me 15c a kw that I export to the grid.

13 x 17c is $2.21 a day saved so just 4 years to pay for it.. that a best case scenario... During winter i use all it makes about 15 kw a day not much would go in the battery.. So say it took 5 or more years to recoup... hmm no thinking its as good a proposition
