Just blowing my own horn cos the Mrs will spend it before i get home if i tell her.

Have traded shares for years but Wednesday night I dipped my toe into the world of CFD's with IG markets
My feeble attempt at charting indicated the djia was set up for a decent fall.
Sitting in my darkened loungeroom in my underwear watching the ticks flash buy on the laptop I pulled the trigger and bought 1 DJIA contract with a 50 point stop at 11:00 pm.
I went off to bed thinking about the trade but resigned to accept whatever occured.
7:00 am Thursday 8 hours later I exited the trade. After the brokerage was deducted I was up $1300 US!
Not getting carried away but pretty happy with my first trade on the djia
I can't share this with anyone else as they just don't get it
so TOOT TOOT for me
