I thought I had once read that stock market listings in the US have a number of requirements that need to be met such as a minimum price per share and a minimum market cap because they don't like/want penny stocks. I could be mistaken and I'm not just talking about the Dow Jones because it is only reserved for the biggest of companies of course. Can anyone shed any educated light on this?
