To my mind a 'slippage' from the commitment "Complete a value-creating agreement with an industry/strategic partner by 30th June 2014" would be less than ideal.
However it's important to remember that delays with the signing of agreements are usually unavoidable despite best intentions.
That said Silex have, to my memory at least, never given a fixed date for anything so to do so in May, for June, tells me that they must have some contingency built in.
Either way I expect any 'slippage' to be explained in a market announcement prior to 30/6.
What would be "horrendous" would be if the "value-creating agreement with an industry/strategic partner" fell through. Perish the thought.
I can only believe that the deal is done for MG to put himself out there with this one.
