The announcement is wonderful for the future of the company but didn't have the 'wow' factor that would lead to me believe any short term gain in share price would occur. I suspect there maybe many traders here who will have to abandon their holdings. I personally had hoped for an issue price quite a bit higher than 8.5c, and thought perhaps it that may have been attainable by APG management.
I have been most critical of APG management over my time involved with APG, but credit to them for getting this deal done and signed. As I mentioned, maaaaybe the issue price to Kronos could have been a little better, but hey, the announcement secures APG future, so well done. In the end, I still don't really have faith in them, and it's hard to maintain an investment in a company where you don't trust management. Even the way this announcement was handled has left a sour taste in my mouth.
I will keep a close eye on APG and will always hope to see it go well. I want to thank all the posters on here who have been around for the entire time I have held this stock. Your information has always been appreciated. I sincerely hope the stock rises on the back of this announcement over the coming months.
I will look to perhaps come back in when the plant is finally done and dusted and more concrete negotiations with other majors can occur. I know FT and co are preaching a lot happening in the background, but I'm of the opinion not much will happen until 2012, which I think is when APG can really create some buzz and complete some larger deals.
Good luck to FT, Rickaroonie, Tewks, Inter, Jawsy, seik, u812, pommie, etc....the list goes on. I wish you all the best of luck and whilst I'd be extremely jealous if the price rose dramatically in the short term (and regret sellnig!), I'd be happy for all you guys!
Thanks everyone,
