Original interpretation on the gold at the A1 Consolidated Mine is that it is a "stockworks" style of deposit that consists of a complex system of veins. The new interpretation is that the gold is contained in "breccia zones" which are loose stone that have been cemented together. This stuff is caused by by the grinding between fault zones that produced all of the rubble for cementing (with gold that found its way into the fault now distributed throughout the rubble).

The breccia appears to be contained within a near vertical zone that is approximately 65 meters wide. A1 comment on all of this is that gold within this type of breccia zone is "more predictable" because the zone of the grinding is more easily defined between faults than a crazy patchwork that is found in stockworks.

The halt of two weeks for drilling out 9 months of mineable resource then makes perfect sense. My sense is that this is a positive for ongoing mining.

IMHO opinion the market always assumes bad news when underground mining activity is stopped in this fashion. In this case the surprise may be very much to the upside. This might explain the quick recovery in the stock on Friday, especially after a few days of ongoing drilling. Good luck to all longs.
