If indeed what you’re saying is correct, then MATMOR has huge implications indeed. Apart from the obvious monetary spin-offs, of more importance is the potential saving of unique landscapes and associated ecology. Having being associated with resource consents applications for mining proposals, I’m quite aware of the destructive mechanisms associated with the wining of coal through open cast techniques.

I would be interested in learning more about MATMOR, as to date it is rather arbitrary just telling people than there is a new technology in place to replace the need for mining coke without being able to explain the process in greater depth. A “Coke Killer” as you put it, please tell me more….
