I've just been Googling the Tesla Power Wall 2 battery and the deals they have going with Origin and Energy Matters. It makes a lot of economic sense to use solar power at home throughout the day and then use the battery at night. I will certainly look at getting a system installed.
Now .. imagine that same concept being used on a much larger industrial scale than the home owner. The savings to industry, power providers/grids, local governments etc. would be very attractive, irresistible even.
That's where 1414 will shine ... in time.
