There has been talk in the Past about the power demand for storage, talkng about a demand of between 4000 to 6000 megawatts. Duplicating Snowy 2.0 and even a Snowy 4.

Im not sure the outcome of this report from the Hydro Chief, but in Comparison for cost and scale of 1414 technology to the Hydro 2.0, I just wanted to make a discussion on apples for apples comparison.

Kevin said in an Alan Kholer interview that he expects 1414 costs to produce each 1 megawatt of storage at $70,000 per megawatt of storage.

So based on that cost assumption, to produce 4000 megawatts of storage would cost 1414 the Company just $280 Million. So thats 4000 MW x 70k per MW = $280 Mil cost.

The recent dicussion on the Cost estimates of just the Snowy 2 alone was in the $5 Billion range cost estimate.

But Kevin stating the Company cost for each 1 MW of storage  at $70k per MW, makes 1414 systems seem an eye watering low cost solution considering there is discussion saying Sydney needs an extra 6000 MW worth of storage.

This makes 14D seem very much under the radar right now for value comparison.
