I have shares in this of course, I have spent alot of time researching energy storage. I have worked for companies who make more money turning their manufacturing plants off to sell power blocks back to the grid for peak times than they do continuing to manufacture, if you would believe.

I've seen the peak prices skyrocket and seen the figures of $100,000 an hour being made by power consuming companies by shutting down and selling power blocks back to the grid at short notice. Im really just interested in facts more so than anything.

There's alot of energy storage systems to supply electricity back at peak times..compressed air accumulators, batteries, heat accumulators, even liquefied cryogenic storage of air products to use through expansion turbines. In this scenario at SA Water they are aiming to improve on and replace gas engine systems with zero storage...whilst supplementing with an income stream of exporting to the grid.
