If Azumah was in Australia as a gold miner there is NO mining tax on Gold!!
Azumah have also stated they have no communities to relocate like the examples given, so Loki01 has that wrong.
The extra 10% share to government, the Ghanaian government has never taken this up. The only return here is via dividends, and how often do you see dividends paid by gold miners, particularly juniors!!
But otherwise the tax take is about right.
