Actually, I'm a scientist, of the doctor kind, and I disagree with you.
Ask yourself this - if a stem cell can become pretty much any kind of cell, what makes it decide to become the kind you want it to be?
When you can answer that, and take steps to influence that decision, then stem cell therapy has a future.
Meanwhile, we already have a name for pluripotential cells that work outside the body's normal regulatory mechanisms. We call them cancer cells.
