Here are some photos of the new bins in the City of Palmerston NT. The council is in the process of breaking up the city into "wards". They have also installe "fibre-sense" cables under footpaths and roads through the suburb of Bakewell and 20km main road into Darwin. Apparently it is for monitoring road and foot traffic. Conspiracy? Doubt it, fast becoming reality.
