    Newcastle receives it's fair share of coal pollution, but all coal ships etc are brought in via tugboats. I don't believe they are at anywhere near full steam until a little way out to sea. So they do some care, but probably not enough.

    However, they do use poorer quality fuels and belch huge amounts of smoke. Terrible. Great read. Thanks.
