You claim Howard borrowed 300 billion? Where is the proof?
When Howard left office, the Australian government had nett assets (no debt, NOTHING) and a budget in surplus. Whatever he did otherwise during his time in government, he paid off ALL debt. EVERYTHING. So not sure what your point is here, even if it's true which I doubt it is.
Regarding AC responsibility, you might be correct in Telstra being ultimately responsible not NBN. It is their asset being leased to NBN. I will admit to you that I was wrong on this matter inattributing blame to the NBN Co, so there you go are you happy now?
As for the content of this particular thread, you are getting nowhere trying to pin any of this on the opposition and the more you try the more deeper the hole you dig.
