1500 - 2000 barrels of oil a day !

I am absolutely convinced that if the logs show oil saturation and good porosity and permeability like what we saw in the core, then with a horizontal well drilled 500m into the oil zone, we should potentially see about 1500 to 2000+ barrels a day!

The 20m oil zone which had the core cut last year showed fair to good primary porosity and excellent secondary porosity and up to excellent permeability. This is really very good news. If oil saturation is sufficient then a 500 metre hole drilled into a 20m column the oil should produce a good flow.

The Amadeus Basin would have made more commercial discoveries if only they used horizontal drilling before including the recently drilled well by CTP called Ooramina. If that well was horizontally drilled we would have most likely seen commercial gas flows from this GIANT structure!

The Amadeus Basin needs this new drilling technology from the USA and not to keep trying the 100 year old way of drilling for oil and gas.

I am very confident of a pleasant SURPRISE at Surprise 1 this time!
