It can be compared to a scaled up Canning Vale prison.
Guards, medical staff, cooks, laundry, admin, transport etc. There will have to be around 300 to 400 staff who then need their own HR, admin, parking etc.
Quite an industry.
Will the guards be armed? What do they do if 200 of the 1500 men decide to walk out one night?
This facility has the potential to put Villawood or Darwin's walkouts in the shade.
