Literally stay away from them. They're illegal in most countries for a reason. I've seen my positions move in the opposite direction to the market before and have been locked out of my account due to 'volatility' when I predicted an oil crash. If you had a short position on the options that went negative yesterday then your account would have been suspended. If you really want to trade oil you need a desk trading futures at a SE.
I trade in options through Commsec now. Returns are far higher in practice.
