chopper,
- I'm sure when it comes to surgeons choice, the shorter the operation time the better, however when it comes to patient choice, how long the operation goes for is not significant at all.
- Eg. I enjoy watching "Extreme Makeovers" on FOX. In any dicussion between surgeon and patient, I have yet to come across one discussion where the patient asks the Q. how long will the operation last? Why.....because the duration is not important, what is important, is the product and/or service the patient will be receiving......the patient needs peace of mind that they are getting looked after.
- Who has the better product, VCR or HTW.....it's debateable to say the very least. However I will say this, do we all remember the "space race"......well in this market, most implantable heart pumps are quite similar, so IMO whoever wants to lead the market, will need to capture the "TETS race".
