I strongly disagree. Hotcopper is just the best filter. I get most of my ideas from the "Most Discussed Stocks" which highlights activity, both good and bad. Then you can drill down and research a small number of stocks plus evaluate the postings with your own lie detector thinking. I first noticed MNM here. I also had $50G in View Resources due a popular tip sheet which did a checkup when the share price was dropping and gave it the thumbs up. But there were credible postings pinpointing the problems and I sold for a $1G loss. About a week later View went down the tube. The tip sheet came up with excuses that its investigation was misled!
