    bogswell, most online brokers now provide some type of charting tool. Suggest you have a play around and read up on how each indicator is calculated and what it's suppose to tell you about the price action.

    BTW have a look at last big spike June-July 2008. See if you can notice anything comparable with current chart for Dec 10-Jan 11 (so far).
