really, I don't know what the fuss is about.

Just take a deep breath and think about the big picture.

1. ARU have committed to the DFS with an expense of ~30 million

2. There are a number of other concurrent projects

3. The Plant site eval, NOI, Env studies all must be funded as well

How do you expect this to happen? do you want them to shut up shop, that would be great for the shareprice now wouldn't it.

The bottom line is, the project needs cash, ARU does not have much, the market is in a severe bear trend and the share price has been marked down along with many other quality stocks.

So hence you have the need to raise capital. If you're all worried about dilution then take up your rights, thats your opportunity the stay on par with your current holding.

If they just did a placement, then we all would be diluted.

The good news is, when all this is done, assuming the place the rest of the rights issue then we'll have access to +40mill which given the current economic climate will underpin the project going forward.
