Hi Tab...it will hold up in my opinion for the reasons outlined and as observed by you. We just need to be on the ball when the action happens to take advantage of the bigger game play. It would be surprizing if the options didn't get in the money well before exercise ....too much at stake there.
All this top end play makes us feel a bit insignificant doesn't it? :)
