Haha for an analyst like Citi I find such an observation completely embarrassing. For instance, let's say there is some craze for speed boats and now everyone needs their own speed boat. Yes competitors will grow but if I own a speed boat company I won't be complaining as I'd be getting a chunk of that increased aggregate demand for speed boats. Likewise in this instance, perhaps is just a general shift in consumer preferences. Again, the very general observation means I don't know what these comparable companies even produce - are they selling A2 products as will or are they targeting other health concerns? Did they compare the popularity of A2M to other brands on e-commerce platforms or just look at the e-commerce platforms?
