I'm sure you lose lots of sleep over the plight of chinese coal miners so I hope you take up their cause with the ILO and other relevant bodies.
You say nuclear would be part of the solution IF global warming were a problem. So what problem is it a solution to if global warming ISN'T a problem? Its not peak oil - you can't put uranium in your gas tank. Gas and coal are much cheaper and more plentiful if global warming doesn't concern you.
