Will be interesting to see if the market begins to re-rate this earlier next week though. I can’t be the only investor out there anticipating the significant upside at these heavily discounted prices, as a result of a highly probable judgement in favour of RIM on the 16th of October? The final outcome is harder to predict, but the outcome of the injunction seems quite clear to me. The market tends to be forward looking and likes to price in news before it happens, so I look forward to seeing if that happens.
If the decision on the 16th is a positive one though, that won’t only help reduce the uncertainty but should serve as a wake up call to the market that the termination of this contract is actually incredibly bullish for holders, vastly expanding the ownership of the company for shareholders without any added cost (assuming all goes to plan), and is a catalyst that should be welcomed not feared IMO
