The original context was to provide a counterbalanced view towards the reference of "simple operation". I thought it was a learning opportunity for those who might not be familiar with mining. For instance, sadly, we still lose way too many lives in this industry.

We all perceive risks differently from our own experiences.

Would this impact how I structure my portfolio? Absolutely. Unlike a diversified miner who can mitigate many of these risks via multiple mines, I would have to do this within my portfolio instead.

Would this stop me from investing in this company? Absolutely not, especially if there's a likelihood we could be getting dividend indefinitely (or to see growth.)

Don't get me wrong. I also like this company and my holding is substantial.
