20,000 hour Ecobulb Accreditation to increase Australian Sales
Energy Mad is pleased to announce it has now secured 20,000 hour lifetime
Australia / New Zealand Standards accreditation for its spiral Ecobulbs, and
20,000 hour lifetime Victorian State Government Energy Efficiency Target
(VEET) Scheme accreditation.
Managing Director Chris Mardon said this accreditation should increase spiral
Ecobulb sales to new and existing customers in the Victorian VEET Scheme.
"We are pleased to announce this accreditation after previously notifying the
market on the 23rd January 2012 that this accreditation could have taken up
until May 2012 to achieve", said Dr Mardon.
The spiral Ecobulb is one of only two Compact Fluorescent Lamp energy saving
bulbs to secure 20,000 hour lifetime Australasian accreditation, and the only
one to have the characteristics of small size, high power factor and low
mercury content.
To date Energy Mad has supplied approximately two million Ecobulbs to VEET
Scheme customers.
