If I was paranoid I'd say the evil shorters read your post and pushed LEI's price down to just below $16.60.
Seriously I wonder whether the ideal stock to short is one that posters on Hotcopper are all over trying to pick the bottom.
Maybe purchasing shares in silence is the way to go.
The Commsec indicator of buys/sells also worries me...sort of a give away as to where mums and dads and small traders are buying and which stocks could be a good target for a concerted effort to short.
