Sell all your ERG, take a year, chuck on a backpack and head out for a trek across China or somewhere. Doesn't even have to be that far. Go up to Queensland or even across to NZ. Just do something that requires you to get out of your rut. You'll never beat the market the way you are and you will only succeed in digging a bigger hole for yourself blaming these characters for your woes - you're gone ok? Beaten. Just forget it. You're too emotionally involved to get caught up in the market now. Just take a year and chill out - do nothing. Doesn't matter how old you are - JUST DO IT!
