    which sort of suggests to me that they don't really have a system for taking regular breaks ---------- which is bloody dangerous

    Although there's a lot of military history worth reading about cycling soldiers and leaders though frontline times - I thought a pretty good example conceptually was in the movie 'Greyhound' - our fairly recently

    the character Hanks played was basically on duty all the time - including days without stopping.

    it doesn't really matter if you have superman on the team - we all need to stop - sleep, eat and clear the mind -- IMO - almost moreso at the top where the decisions are made.

    Then of course there's the idiotic leaders who have no idea of how exhausted the troops are and send them into the next battle when they are about to drop - there's been plenty of them throughout history - it's only when that they have a disaster - not if.
