@Dave R; it was difficult watching Berejiklian talking as if there may be some chance the NSW could even come out of lockdown earlier than July 31st. NSW now needs to be rescued, not left stranded on train tracks waiting to get vaccinated as the Covid Express bears down!

Based on NSW's current fourteen day moving average of 1.07 for new Covid cases [ie. exponential increase] and 1.09 for the seven day moving average [ie, new cases doubling every 7-9 days] and with Sunday's protest yet to be reflected in daily data, the last thing NSW should be looking at is easing restrictions.

Berejiklian's situation is like that of the those who lost their lives due to Phuket's tsunami - she's talking about freedom and businesses opening up while the tide has stopped going out and is now returning.

    Action Needed - Now:
1, Hard lockdown extended to all of Greater Sydney
    2. Night-time curfew for two weeks - enable police to catch offenders moving around at night
    3. Use the two weeks to design a detailed recovery plan based on advice from the likes of the Burnet Institute / Doherty Institute - then explain it to the people of NSW
