so go to government website for your FACTS
    https://www.health.gov.au/news/health-alerts/novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov-health-alert/coronavirus-covid-19-case-numbers-and-statistics

under 40's represent 68% of cases and just 0.006% of deaths... yes less than 1% of deaths

Over 70' represent 11.8% of cases and 75% of deaths.

So THIS virus DOES affect the elderly more, that is obvious! Can it cause death under 40's .. well of course it can. But so can eating a peanut or fish for some... we are all different and some people will unfortunately react differently to the virus.

Recent deaths , in the majority, seem to be elderly. News reports, unless I am missing them, do not state if these elderly were vaccinated or not.
But people in their 80's die every day , but that never seemed to make breaking headlines in the past.
Media reporting , I think , just does not represent the facts evenly.

So for under 40's... you have a less than 1% chance of dying , if you catch the virus for a start. That's what the FACTS tell us.
So should we be asking those over 70 years of age or even 60, who represent the vast majority of deaths... listen you are at high risk, suggest you stay locked up until you get vaccinated or you take the risk that mixing in the community may result in you catching a virus that may result in death ( keep in mind that even with over 70's - the current facts state that only 20% of those over 70 who contract the virus have died as a result of it )
