Not enough people have been vaccinated and too many are flaunting mask rules.
Whether it is an incompetent government or citizen cognitive dissonance, I do not know. However, we are in serious trouble with the current rate of infection and vaccine rates. It appears more than 30% don't want the vaccine anyway and suddenly there are about 20% of citizens who have a medical ailment preventing mask-wearing. Ask them about their medical ailment and they state they don't need to tell you. I can't think of any medical condition that would prevent wearing the mask other than COPD - Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or someone who is ventilated due to COVID19.
With between 20-40% of citizens non-compliant, it might be enough to create a breeding ground for the next mutation? Then we are back to square one. This could go on for years to come. How do we get out of this mess? Any political suggestions?
