DECLARATION ON CLIMATE CHANGE
Bathurst Resources Ltd (ASX & NZX: BTU) is pleased to provide an update on
the consenting process for the Escarpment mine project (consents for which
were granted in August 2011 and which are now subject to appeal).
The Company advises that yesterday the Environment Court heard the
submissions with regard to the declarations as to the relevance of the
effects of the use of coal on climate change in relation to the granting of
resource consents.
The Company will provide a further update to the market once the Environment
Court
issues its decision.
