The market is playing into Tinkler's hands with the last 3 days weakness, expecting his approach last week that didnt come, so sold off. Reduces the Boards defense on price as Tinkler can point to a retest of a $3.50 / $3.70 base if we come off further.
Media suggests he can afford $4.50, maybe that will be the end premium.
However if he overplays his hand it may give one of our northern neighbours the chance to throw their "hat in the ring" - I am sure that WHC could have a number of interested parties at the right price - and that would not suit Tinkler.
