Good discussion on the Drummond Basin project - very helpful to get a balanced handle on things. Thanks all.
My take is -
1. Moving in to historical mined areas is always going to have it's ups and downs - past owners would have had their disappointments (otherwise they would still be owners)
2. Historical data makes the prospect much much better than greenfield.
3. IMO there is a lot left to discover at depth in the periphery units of the Drummond Basin. And that is perhaps the major long term goal, using latest (and still developing) scientific exploration.
Just a snip from a web page on Drummond Basin as example (not to be given too much cred) Credit Ross Mining NL.
