This is proof that if you wait long enough, you might get half a good idea, even on Hotcopper. In my case it was a 16 year wait.

But the best post of the week was this: Post #: 69892129 wherein I asked you lazy chooks if anyone was interested in applying those ideas.
Obviously I was the only one that did. Not only did I apply the Indian Bloke's algorithm to the ASX200 Index Option data to calculate the max pain level but also his contrarian Put-Call indicator. I have since extended the approach to include daily SPI200 volume and settlement price data (and I am thinking of including the less liquid SPI200 American style options).

No wonder I am Hotcopper's best investor and quant trader.

Rise to my level, my esteemed friends. Do some proper analytical work.
