Perhaps AMP and MQG could merge their banking operation (hence no "takeover" premium) and look at other smaller operators such as MYS that have a smaller bricks and mortar operation/structure.
Holder of AMP and was a holder of MQC at $ 85 and sold out at $ 36 when the sky was falling. Learnt a lesson there.
