I see the whole thing dragging out to 2013 here and probably later in the US with a 17 year sideways period from 2000.
I doubt it can go down that long in a straight line.
Yes, we have muddled through in the past and I suppose it is possible again, but the damage looks like at least the years it took after 1987 to get going again if not worse, 5 years.
This is serious stuff and no quick fix will work.
Time is the healer in the main so forget bull markets for a long time.
Maybe study the Joe Granviles of the world who were the range callers of the 1970's.
