Yeah Ive seen Burraga I used to live in Orange as regional manager for a tractor dealer in early 81 its near Oberon its very unremarkable its basically an old mine that has pollution problems they have to spend 500k a year on it feels like the coldest place on earth in winter and Oberon is really a town that needs some commerce the meat works closed down in 83 I think and that was the main source of employment if they ever re opened the mine the locals would march down the street in celebration
we need to remember the central west was the initial mining region of Australia and selling tractors you get to see allot of the country there are old mines everywhere
the place was nearly a ghost town then i wouldnt expect its any different now
