my wife works in IT and is also a real estate agent on week-ends... and no... we have not seen any distress selling in the suburb she is servicing... though she has to tame sellers asking price as the market is cooling a bit... i mean not rising as much.... Put it that way... the property market letting some air is a good thing for both parties: property owners and buyers... it is just not sustainable for houses to rise that much...
