Rudi founded Monsoon Communications in March 1999 after working as head of public affairs for Transurban City Link Limited. At Transurban he was responsible for educating the public and managing issues during the concession deed and construction of Melbourne's fully electronic $2 billion toll road. Prior to that, Rudi was the Public Affairs Manager at the Plastics and Chemicals Industries Association (PACIA).
