ASSET: KRK: Market Announcement - Sale of Harbour City Centre Building
The Directors of Kirkcaldie & Stains Limited (the "Company") refer to its
market announcement of 26 October 2012 whereby the Company announced that its
wholly owned subsidiary, Kirkcaldie & Stains Properties Limited, had entered
into a conditional sale and purchase agreement for the sale of the Harbour
City Centre building (the "Property").
As noted in the 26 October 2012 announcement, the agreement was conditional
on the purchaser carrying out a due diligence investigation of the Property,
the Company's Board of Directors approving the transaction, and the Company's
shareholders approving the proposed sale.
The Company has agreed to grant the purchaser an extension to its due
diligence investigation to 30 November 2012. The Company's board approval and
the Company's shareholders approval is extended commensurately to 7 December
2012, and 4 February 2013, respectively.
Full details of the transaction will be released following completion of due
diligence and Board approval, but in the meantime they remain subject to
mutual obligations of confidentiality between the parties.
