I don't think many people would feel too safe with their phone flying up in the air. But if it was... what would control it? At the end of the day this is a relatively new product category, functionally over form applies here, because what the points on a cool looking product if it takes poor photos?

Based on legal isssues they are legal so I don't know what you are basing that on... and soon enough drones will be used for parcel delivery, warfare, security, sports filming, and all the rest. There's no escaping some of the benefits of this kind of technology and overtime the risks will decrease.

As for IOT and the roame, premature to say it will fail compared to some random kickstarter imo
