Thats not completely true, they arent silent, they are happy to look the govts way and say 'listen to us'. Requests for dialogue with the govt by moderate communities are all well and good. Problem is the moderates need to back the Australian cause and dob in these losers or get out of the way and shut the hell up.If you want dialogue over the problems good muslims face then for a start good muslims should be dobbing in these people fullstop.Id assume the house of cards would then be tested, as the various shades of grey in the community would be apparent.
