    Agree Tibbs, most likely the low quality cts was an accumulation of material that they don't want at their 1st auction to protect/build their brand/reputation and they are still deciding what to do with these.....possibly via discussion with links established with buyers post this 1st auction. The "safe house" is most likely a strong room in a super secure warehouse used by multiple gem/bullion/currency dealers.....providers of this level of security have a reputation to protect and never want to have a theft event....using these types of "storage facilities" is still most likely cheaper than trying to insure potentially US$25-100m of gems? Pretty sure that gold miners in Aus would have similar arrangements and would not store 10's of millions of bullion on site prior to sale.
