Depends how much money you have. How much you enjoy food going out the taste the experience, service atmosphere. Who your dining with, how much they mean to you. I mean if your an old pleb cook your IGA steak and eat it alone in your kitchen. You cant take the money with you. Life is about experiences and enjoyment. Fine dining is not for everyone. Pensioners like yourself should probly not eat out. It's the same with everything in life Lamborghini, Porche, Bentley even Mercedes is not for everyone. But those that can afford it and enjoy it, will do so. $250 dinner for two fine dining is not very expensive.
