ELK will need some time to digest the report.

As someone else said, you can't expect them to get the report at 9.45 and release it to market at 10.15

A report that's taken the best part of a year to generate isn't something that you can just throw to the market.

The company has to understand it all etc. first.

One hopes that the report generates a massive amount of interest from investors both here and in the States, so they need to fully understand the report and it's contents etc. to be able to properly inform the market.

It would be disappointing if they didn't fully understand it when they release.

They have obligations to not let the information leak (although we all know that this is sometimes paid lip service only), and one would assume that only the directors would know the contents of the report. They aren't allowed to buy prior to a price sensitive announcement, therefore, they can realistically take all the time they need to go through it.
