Quite simply because they need a decent JORC resource to justify the capital investment to restart ops.
Plus a reasonable Ni price...... the usual requirements as any serious investor would already know.
AND THAT IS WHAT IS HAPPENING!
The Ni price is getting much better .... and expected to grow further because of the sustained increase in demand for class 1 Ni for battery grade Ni sulphate;
PLUS
The JORC resource and reserve is likely to increase from the TWO extra drills, already contracted and about to start drilling this month.
All above IMO .... DYOR etc.
